Muun

The Muun species, also known as the Muunilinsti, are an intelligent and calculating humanoid race originating from the high-gravity world of Muunilinst in the Star Wars universe. They stand tall, with an average height of 1.9 meters. Notably, they have elongated heads, pale, slim bodies with thin arms, and a narrow face containing a distinguished jaw that slips down several centimeters below their mouth. Preserving a distinctive cultural identity, they speak Muun, their native language, along with the galactic language, Basic.

They are known for their proficiency in finance and could also be seen in the Star Wars world as tight-fisted and greedy. A great proportion of the galaxy's Interstellar trade and finance was handled by the Muuns, specifically by the InterGalactic Banking Clan, created by them. A notable character of the Star Wars series from the Muun species includes Darth Plagueis, a Sith Lord. Imperial Advisor Makarial Gravin, who served Emperor Palpatine, also belonged to the Muun species. Positioning themselves in key roles across the galaxy, the Muuns have an influential role within the Star Wars cosmos.
