Kuiil

Kuiil is a character from the Star Wars universe who appears in the Disney++ series, "The Mandalorian." An Ugnaught, Kuiil is a small humanoid alien species known for their industriousness and resilience, originating from the planet Gentes. Ugnaughts have been depicted throughout the Star Wars saga, most notably in "The Empire Strikes Back," where they are seen working in the Cloud City of Bespin. Kuiil's backstory suggests he earned his freedom through many years of labor, underscoring his desire for peace and solitude later in life.

In "The Mandalorian," Kuiil is portrayed by actor Nick Nolte, who provides the voice, while Misty Rosas performs the physical character. Kuiil is introduced as a farmer and moisture vaporator technician who assists the protagonist, Din Djarin, with various tasks. His wisdom, mechanical skills, and catchphrase "I have spoken" quickly made him a fan favorite. Despite his desire to live a quiet life, Kuiil becomes deeply involved in the Mandalorian's quest, helping to rebuild IG-11, a droid whose initial role was to eliminate the Child (Grogu) but was reprogrammed by Kuiil to protect it instead.
