Hello and today we are reviewing season 2 of Clone Wars episodes 4 and 5 and Vision 6.

Which we're making even farther headway in that series because we only have two more left after this.

Which is kind of cool that we've actually finished a small TV series.

And yes, given it's like the 15 minute episodes.

But still going through these Clone Wars episodes I'll be happy when we get kind of toward the end of these guys.

And get to start something fresh like a new book or like a new comic or something cool like that.

John, I had a beer fairy visit my house probably about 10 minutes ago and left me the most wonderful looking beer I've ever seen.

I don't know if I call it crushable just because I look at the side of the can and think, I can't crush 9.3 beers, but it tastes crushable.

It's pretty good.

It actually is really, really good.

Sweetwater has a Session beer.

It's like a Session IPA.

And it tastes not as hoppy as this.

This definitely tastes better, but it has the same kind of profile.

Let's talk about this episode four.

So we had this really weird jump in the list and I still don't quite understand it if I'm

being honest.

We went we watched let's see here episodes one, two and three of season two.

Then the list, which if you don't know about the list, please log on to the discord and

it'll explain this whole podcast and how we're going through everything in chronological

order.

The list jumped us up to season two episodes 15, 16 and 17, I believe, which was the first

one was about bounty hunters where we got to meet Cad Bane.

The next two were about the Zillow Beasts, which we talked about last time.

And that's our last podcast.

And those two were all three of those.

Really, I don't understand why we jumped so far ahead in the in the chronological order

for those later in the season.

But we did.

And so we didn't jump ahead.

We continued our chronological order.

It's just that the chronological order put those three in front of four through, I guess,

13 or 14 of season two's Clone Wars.

So we're right now we're going to understand that at all.

It didn't make sense of the story either.

Yeah, I didn't quite get it.

But anyways, maybe that will be come out later on.

We've gone back to season two, episode four, which was the first one that we're going to

talk about.

And it's our first I shouldn't say it's our first introduction to Clorvis, because we've

met him before.

Do you remember where we met Clorvis before?

I don't actually.

We've met him before.

I'm sorry, Corvus.

Yeah, I think he was the love interest in the Padme novel that we read.

Remember how she had that kind of Senator guy that she kind of hung out with a little

bit?

No way.

I think that's Corvus.

I think it is.

I think it was.

I'll have to go back and review the notes from that book.

And that was like our fourth podcast, maybe podcast four or five.

Yeah, we both really enjoyed it.

We really enjoyed the book.

Yeah, I think that's who it was.

I think that that was a younger Corvus.

And that now we're seeing an older Padme, technically married.

Well, no, not married yet.

Right.

Is she at this point?

I have to remind.

Yes, this is post Clone Wars, right?

Post Episode two.

And they were married at the end of Episode two.

That's right.

Yeah, because he did the little thing.

The final shot.

We made fun of.

Yeah.

So yeah, technically her and Anakin are married secretly at this point.

And this episode was really good.

I really enjoyed the not only the political intrigue, because this was a little bit more

political intrigue than the other episodes that we've watched, but also the kind of relationship

dynamic that Padme and Anakin have on this episode.

What was your thoughts?

That was about the only for me, that was the only interesting thing about this episode.

I really didn't get a lot out of it.

In the relationship, I had to remind myself, it's like, was this this is post Episode two.

So yes, they're married.

And right.

They're having to play this, this, these roles, you know, keep up this facade, which I had

completely forgotten about as far as where this was in time.

Why, why are they having to fake it now, remember?

And it originally was kind of annoying.

Yeah, I think that I think that it's pretty blatantly obvious to anybody that's around

both of them at this time.

That's what's going on.

It's kind of annoying.

But also to the the dynamic with Anakin and Corvus, too, toward the end of this is very

interesting to me.

I thought it was a good episode.

I really enjoyed the political intrigue.

We hadn't seen much of that yet in Clone Wars.

I mean, we see a little bit every now and then.

But basically, the quick summary is that the Jedi Council asks Corvus's former lover, sorry,

Senator Amidala, to go and talk with him to figure out what's going on in his vacation

house because they believe he's a spy on him because they believe he's part of the Trade

Federation or working with it.

She finds out that he is.

And then Anakin, of course, is the one guard that came with her because he wants to make

sure that everything's okay.

Yeah, it was a good episode.

I don't want to ruin anything.

Yeah, that's why I wanted to just yeah, just to make sure everything's okay.

That's why I wanted to go.

Yeah, sure.

He's not he's not a jealous horndog.

Yeah, no, seriously.

And so so I don't know.

This is like nothing that they've explored, in my opinion, really.

I mean, so far.

So I liked it.

Well, I need to go back now and into the book and see if you're right and if this guy was

was in that being served that role in that novel, because that would help me accept how

he turns in the episode, because that was wholly unbelievable.

Yeah, yeah, I agree with that.

And I think that there is there is still he understands the Trade Federation should technically

come first, I think, within the deals that he's made thus up to this point.

But also, I do think he truly has feelings for Senator Abaddon.

I think that it's a legit I think it's a legit story.

I mean, I think that all three of the emotional states of the people that are involved are

real and I think that that's what makes it a really good episode to me.

Am I like soap opera?

Am I Clone Wars soap opera?

I mean, is that like, have I watched too many battles?

And now I'm just like, I just want to see the love stories.

It's funny you say that because when we get to the next so.

Episode. Oh boy. So on this one, I mean, he comes across at the end. It's like, wait, I gave you

a 20. Give me the disc. I mean, so naive. Really? You really thought that that by doing the minimal

good thing that they would give up the thing that they obviously came there to get? Yeah, true.

It's very naive and again, annoying. So coming off the Zillow Beast episodes,

it's going to be hard to top those for me for Clone Wars Season 2, just because I like the

whole Kaiju type situation. This one did a decent job at something new, I thought. Again, I still

don't understand the time jumps or at least not the time jumps, but the episode number jumps.

But maybe we'll figure that out. It just this one seemed like a one off completely to me.

Very much. Yes. It's advancing the plot because they have to discover, you know, that the

foundries exist, right? They don't even know the story. So they have to get that going. But with

you saying that the Zillow Beast, that's your favorite of Season 2, we've got to move on to

the next episode because... Let's go. Talk about it. Okay. Episode 5. Yeah, Episode 5. That was

a great episode. It was good. I enjoyed it. I enjoy my... With them flying into the battle,

flying into the battle. That was a sequence. That was fantastic. That's what Star Wars is all about,

baby. I'm talking about the pew pew. That's what I want to see. What about the three... What about

all the political intrigue? What about all the soap opera? So I have in my notes, number one,

I thought that this actually looked better than Zillow Beast. I felt like this episode,

especially the intro or the first part, the first, you know, one third of the show was really,

really good graphics. It really was. Like, it's been like a step up constantly. And I don't know

even... I thought Zillow Beast was really good. But then I saw this one and I'm like, man, this

looks really good. This was, yeah, this was top notch. Do you know what my second note is on my

notes? You know, I don't. I don't know that. Flamethrowers. Yes, that's in my notes. Absolutely.

Flamethrowers. This is a kid's show and they're roasting bugs. Like sentient beings. They're

roasting. Yes, it is awful. Yeah. Like pump them into holes. Have them all fly out. Yeah, seriously.

This guy smell awful in there. All right. So what was your... You seem to feel very strongly that

this one was better than four. What is... This was way better than four. The action sequences?

Or just the fact that there were action sequences? I guess the fact that there were action

sequences. But no, the entire episode is way better than four. This was a fan... This was...

Actually, you know what? So what would be better than this episode?

Well, so here's my thing. I can't think of anything. I feel like it moved the plot a bit

in episode four, but Episode five, I mean, it was just a... I mean, don't get me wrong. I enjoyed

watching the graphics of it and seeing a battle of that nature and seeing it done very well.

And strategically. And there's a little bit of like kind of coolness with the back things.

Oh, I don't care. No, they got to go take a thing, you know, because it's war and there's a battle,

you got to take a thing. I don't care how it fits into the larger scheme of...

Clones and bugs are dying everywhere.

Yeah. It's just, just go at it. That was... And they were, you know, they got surrounded

like airborne troopers and stuff. That was really cool.

Yeah. I agree with that. I don't know. I don't know that I still... Yeah. It's just,

it seems like two distinct stories, but I still also don't understand how

that fifth episode moves the story, the greater story forward. Kyle Munday, the Jedi guy with the

tall forehead. You could say that maybe he had some reflective moments at the end of it.

But I don't know. I mean, it was just a big battle.

Yeah. And the one thing that it did show, which I've always wondered about actually,

and you can tell me if we've seen this before, but when they blew up the big giant wall dam thing,

okay. Yeah. Yeah. The side of the castle or whatever it was.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then they just, first of all, they throw the clone trooper over the side.

Yeah. That was kind of cool. I agree with that.

Jump. Now you just jump casually like that. Obviously, you know what you're doing. So I'm

waiting for what exactly are they really, are they really going to like float bounce on, you know,

drift, float, land on the float force. And that's exactly what they did.

Yeah. And Rex does too.

Have we seen that before? No, they catch him. They catch him.

Well, no, I know, but I'm just saying that like, it's like that, it's like that very...

You realize that they did kind of float them in.

That makes them Invincible. They could just jump off anything.

So I'm thinking of, I'm thinking of the one thing that you hated in the first

Episode one movie wise was where Anakin and Obi-Wan jumped down that elevator shaft like super fast.

They didn't jump down the elevator super fast. They just jumped. It was just jumping.

Yeah. But we watched it and we were all kind of like, that happens like really super fast. Like

they drop fast.

I watched the footage frame by frame and you can tell with the internal implosions the towers collapse quicker than gravity is.

I thought it was just him jumping down and I accept that as they land like parkour or whatever style Jedi style.

But this was falling at terminal velocity and landing on like a cushion of force and then you know just boop they're safe.

So they were firing lasers back and forth so it wasn't as tall as like the wall in Game of Thrones but it was tall.

It was a pretty tall structure. It was really tall. It was not 30, 40, 50 feet. It was like 300 feet.

And also too there's a little bit of like poopy pants from Rex there because like he knows they're not going to let him die but still just being flung off that wall like that quick.

That whole time you're falling down you've got to be thinking did they just kill me? What did I do wrong?

And then they're like laughing about it when they get to the bottom and they're like ha ha Rex that was a good one.

And you're just like jeez that's dark man. This guy thought he was going to die the whole time.

Yeah you thought you were going to die. What's that smell? Yeah buddy what's that smell?

And then you're like oh man okay and then you kind of walk back to the ship together and you're like awkward situation.

Like I really thought I was going to die man. Yeah no it was good. It was good.

I enjoyed it. Like I said I think the art is continuing to get better.

I'm probably going to say that for every episode continuing on but yeah the art looked really good.

I don't know what do you call it. It's not the art direction it's more of the storyboard for that first third of it is really good too.

Because it's like very action-y. Like you would think a war of this type would look like.

You know what I'm saying but like the best parts. Like the kind of tilt to the screen when they're flying in on the drop pods.

And all this other stuff. It's just kind of like a drop ships. It's just kind of like I don't know I just thought it looked good.

It was very well done actually. I wonder if it was kind of like modeled after something else somewhere.

Like a real life movie that somebody did but I don't know. I thought it was really good. It was good.

I still think I liked four just as much as I liked five. But for different reasons.

Wildly different reasons. I would say that yeah the storyboarding. It's always impressive when they can show a battle.

A large battle or I guess this is kind of a medium battle. And you don't get. They're able to tell the story visually so that you understand where the pieces are on the board and what is happening at all times.

Right. So many action sequences you've seen you really get lost and you have no idea. Wait I thought they were over there.

Why are they now they're trapped. Wait. So if you can tell that story the way they did in Episode 5 that's great.

That's one of the reasons that I really liked it. Also too I think that after the we talked about this in the first Clone Wars movie or sorry the first Episode one of the movies proper.

The sound effect that Jango Fett's the kind of neutron bomb thing makes is like a very known sound in the Star Wars universe.

You know you remember that where he blows up the asteroids. It's a sound I don't. Yeah. It's a. Yeah.

You know you know the sound like you like if you see it you can be like oh yeah I know it's exactly what sound that makes the guns for the bug creatures in this one.

The genosins has a very distinct sound too. And I remember hearing it in the movies and then seeing so many of them in this.

And also too a lot of them would fly by and then shoot. And you had to kind of capture that. I'm flying from this angle to this angle.

This is what the sound should sound like. It was really well done. Like the sound engineer whoever did the sound on this one was pretty good too.

Yes. Speaking of the sound. So did you hear when the Jedi were doing their their ambush there.

They're just let's just run in you know that kind of thing which is cool. Kind of stretching credulity a little bit but fine.

Just just run ambush. There was this like Wonder Woman chanting music going on like.

Oh no. You didn't. You need to go back. I didn't get I didn't catch that part. No.

When they run through the shield. Yeah. This is when Anakin and they were like dodging back and forth and like you're just like whoa.

They're just like going straight in like everybody's kind of like the the the clones are behind him.

Yeah. With the long guns first you know. Yeah. Wow. I didn't notice any type of like orchestral or anything.

Jumped right out at me. And this was before this was before Wonder Woman right.

Oh well I mean not the not the 70s show but yeah the movies definitely.

No the movie where they have the yeah this was 2000. This was 2009. So yeah it was before any of those.

Well OK Mr. IMDB when was when did Wonder Woman come out.

I don't know but this was November 17th if I remember correctly. Looking at my notes.

But Wonder Woman I wonder with your very first Wonder Woman which was excellent.

Man that was not a tangent. Let's not change it. I'm just saying there was there was there was a chanting thing going on and it jumped out at me is like what.

That was an interesting choice. It all made me think of what's the one from Episode one.

The Duel of the Fates.

You just made me think of that. It doesn't sound anything like that.

Don't get me don't don't you say that style.

Yeah. It's also very prevalent in Skyrim.

If you play that game, it's like but it's more of a male changing,

not as much female, but it's like or like, yeah, they do it a lot.

I know exactly what you're talking about, but I'm kind of surprised I didn't pick up on it.

Maybe it's just yeah.

Go back to where they they charge the shield, trying to get in there to knock out the guns and you can't mistake it.

It was a good episode. These were two really good. We've gotten four really good episodes back to back.

I really enjoyed the Zillow Beast episodes too. And I'll actually say I enjoyed the Bounty Hunter episode too.

So maybe five back to back that I really liked. I hope that as we continue through Season 2 we're going to find more that we really like.

But yeah, it was good. Give me... go ahead.

Well, one last thing. So I loved at the end when the Jedi Master... what was his name with the tall head?

K'al Munday. K'al Munday I think is what it is.

You say that? Yeah, I'm not even going to try it.

So when he says, my number was 65 and what did I win?

And Anakin says, uh, my respect. And this Jedi Master is like, really?

That's it. Yeah.

Okay. Your respect. That's great.

He wasn't expecting a prize or anything. It was so awesome that he did not expect that answer.

And he thought that this young Jedi telling him, you have my respect now.

It was like, really?

It's almost like throwing it back in his face. I get your joke and I'm going to joke right back to you.

I enjoyed that part of it. I don't remember... actually let me take that back.

I do and probably pretty certain that in 2009 that you had the second The Two Towers movie from Lord of the Rings.

Yes. Or Gimli and... what's his name? The Dooder of the Shield on the steps.

Immediately just the way he looked. It shows in the end when he's using the rocket pack, all that kind of stuff.

It was definitely an homage to Astro Boy, I think.

I didn't think of the Pinocchio though, and that's a really good one because it does match up with that.

The guy looked like Geppetto, for Christ's sakes.

So I'm gonna I'm gonna tell you that I thought the the backgrounds the backgrounds in in the in the episode were

Actually, really cool. I kind of like the style. Yes, that was a sort of a

pointillistic

There's a Ghibli movie that has the almost exact same kind of art style on the back. It's it's to where it's like

Not Oh not an Oscar Valley of the Wind

It's called it's called Nostra Valley of the Wind and it's it's that kind of like that same art style

but also to or sorry I should say the same art style the architecture style of this place and then also

the in sending the Nostra

They always put the characters not very detail but way more detail than the backgrounds and that's not because they're being lazy

You don't want to like kind of describe the background just like they want to pull the character towards you

And the background is just this kind of cool thing in the background. I like that. Yeah, that was a cool

That was I get that inside this. Yeah, totally get that totally makes sense

I love the backgrounds everything else sucked

And then he gets killed off and now the robot who thinks he's Jedi is going out into the galaxy to continue the Jedi mission.

That has some deep philosophical really cool nuggets to ponder.

Especially in this day and age now where I think we're starting to see really cool things with like AI R-Pods and you know like stuff like that.

How Season 1 ended and I don't mean plot-wise. How the show kind of finished Season 1.

Well, I think you kind of do need to know this so you can decide whether you want to watch it.

Alright, so let's preface the viewers or the listeners that we're going to be getting into spoilers.

If you haven't watched Night Sky, we may spoil a little bit of it.

So try to not listen to this or go check it out and do whatever you need to do.

But you can spoil it a little bit for me. I'm asking you not to spoil it completely.

But if there's something you definitely want to talk about that you don't think would technically spoil it, then I'm down with it.

Alright, so Night Sky, the premise is, and I'm going to have to get the two main actors, Sissy Spacek and...

And the premise of the show, so this is not a spoiler at all, the premise of the show is that they live, I don't know, I think it's Indiana, Illinois? Illinois.

And just in a normal semi-rural house.

And every night they go out to their workshop shed and go down into the basement of the shed.

And go into this sort of room and get teleported to a planet millions of light years away.

How's that? Wild. Okay, it's J. K. Simmons, by the way.

J. K. Simmons! Love that guy.

Okay, so it's just him and his wife.

They both knowingly every night walk into this sub room in their barn or basement or whatever and get transported immediately to a galaxy...

To a very, yes, very alien world. A room on the very alien world that they've never left.

They've only gone to the room and sat there and tried to figure out why is this here?

So it's like an escape room.

Why are we here?

I'm interested. Okay, I'm interested.

Yeah, the whole thing is set up as a puzzle and through the course of season one it's unraveling the puzzle bit by bit.

It's got some lost-y kind of components to it because there's flashbacks and you find out the story behind so-and-so character you just met.

That sort of thing. It's pretty well done. I would recommend it. Now, except for the one thing.

Okay, is this going to give away too much?

I think you need to know this, okay?

Because our good friend William, if I told him this, he would never watch the show.

Okay, fair enough.

I trust William's opinions on movies and TV.

Season one ended. Good cliffhanger. Good set up for season two. And season two will never happen.

It's been cancelled. Completely.

Oh, yeah. Do I want to make the investment now?

I did not know that when I watched the show. I saw good things about the show on Twitter, the people I follow, and no one told me that.

What's the streaming service?

I think it's Amazon? I think it's on Prime?

They're really slow to let big stuff go. That's kind of amazing to me that they just already cancelled it.

Especially with J.K. Simmons and Sissy Spacek. I mean, they're two pretty big actors.

They do such a great job. I mean, seriously.

So, how long ago did season one come out?

Oh, this is recent.

Oh, like the last couple months? So, I guess it's just the downturn in the economy maybe stopped them from doing a season two?

I mean, it sounds like you're loving the show, so I don't feel like it's something to do with the content.

No, I thought the show was very well done. Not like, oh my god, mind-blowing, but very well done.

And such a solid hook at the end of season one. It built all the way up to this.

It was going to be such a satisfying payoff the way season one played out.

And then, rug pull. Done. It is on Prime.

You know, in the streaming years, I think you're going to probably see stuff like when the economy is good,

or maybe when stocks pick up, that people will either shuffle this to another streaming network.

It's kind of like, here's one of your good shows, here's one of my good shows, let's trade and we'll redo it.

Not redo it, but continue it.

They may be trying to shop it. They may be trying to shop it around. I just, I don't know.

I'm glad you warned me. I really was worried that whenever you were telling me this,

that I was going to be like, oh, well now I don't have to worry about it.

I want to watch the show because I know kind of what's going on with the alien.

It's nothing to do with that.

And I'm glad you said something because that does make me really wonder,

should I wait and see if somebody does pick up the show on another network

and then like kind of like, you know,

like watch it all really quick to see what's going to happen in the next season?

And that's mostly coming from from William vehemently saying,

you know, if it's only one season, I'm not watching it.

I it was still enjoyable.

I enjoyed it.

And it's good food for thought there towards the end.

Actually, all the way through it, because of some of the issues that it deals with.

I mean, J.K.

Simmons and Cissy Spacek are not young actors.

And it deals a lot with being elderly and how things,

you know, how life kind of takes.

You see J.K. Simmons.

He's going to be pissed if you call him elderly.

And in this show, he is he's he's playing an elderly guy.

I mean, it's clear.

And so he's that he's that good of an actor, right, John?

He's yeah, exactly.

The couple of episodes where they were, they quote unquote de-age him.

Yeah. You know, yeah, they really do de-age him, but it's very well done.

It's actually very it's it's it's not like what's what's an example of the aging?

Oh, what's his face in Tron Legacy?

Jeff, you know, where it's like fake as crap.

No, they did a fantastic job de-aging in a couple of the episodes

for that flashback, that lost thing I was talking about.

But no, they're they're playing elderly people.

And again, that that has a lot to do with it.

They've been going to this other planet for 20 years,

and they haven't figured out anything.

They just go to the room and sit and try and just wonder why.

You know, what is the deal with this for 20 years?

And it's extremely brave, too.

Like that's like I would I would be like, I'm not going back there.

I don't know what that is like.

Yeah, they they they address it as like it's kind of like an addiction.

Do they understand that they're going to a different planet at this point?

Like, how do they know?

They know they know not only that, but they know that they're going

just millions of light years away.

How, though? I don't like, OK, oh, yeah, it's so alien.

No, they could they could be next door.

But it's so alien that that you would think I'm in a different galaxy.

You know, that kind of thing.

But it's it's really good.

The only thing I've watched lately, and this is not a lie, is Our Man in Italy, which is the James May special.

Yeah. And then Dinner with the Racers. I finished up season three of that, which is pretty cool too.

But that's more of a race, race. Like if you're into race cars, that's a great show to watch.

And it's really good. I think part of it's just, A, I enjoy Top Gear so much that I enjoyed watching him.

But B, I enjoy that it's just so dry humor. Like it is so good. It's so awesome.

But yeah, if you're into travel shows, that's pretty good. I binged that one pretty quick.

Yeah, what's held me back from that is, I mean, yes, I enjoy Top Gear or what is it called? Grand Tour.

As much as you do, we're the key demographic, so yeah, love that show.

And I have those in my queue, but the main reason I held off was, is it good? Is it enjoyable?

But I really, really actually ended up enjoying that.

I'm also going weekly with the new Game of Thrones series, Fire and Ice.

And then, yeah, I wasn't going to mention that one.

Sorry, House of Dragons. And then She-Hulk.

Yeah, they're both good in their own ways.

So just briefly, really quickly, because I was also, I picked up on the fact that when I said Westworld, you, I don't think you made any reaction there.

I didn't because I've not watched past season one and based on everything that I've heard from not just you, but from other people, I don't care to watch the other seasons.

So, yeah, yeah, I watch it. Why not? Yeah. I mean, what else am I going to watch? So Westworld season four, if you look at the viewership, that's the really interesting thing.

Season one and then it just drops off and here we are in season four and it's like nobody's watching the show.

There's no way there's a season five and it's really stupid at this point.

It's just what's what's a good example of a show? And I think I can't think of the one that I don't want to say, but there's a show where it's just they just get so lost in in the intricacies and double crossings.

And you guys are just winging this like you're throwing darts at a board before you before you write the episode.

That's what it feels like you may mean lost, which is my favorite show of all time.

You know, and I'm not criticizing the end of Lost. I think it was I think it was kind of prescribed.

And I think that and I think the same thing with the original Game of Thrones.

I think that they had to close up shop really quick because all those people were getting big and going to movies and doing all sorts of stuff.

So, yeah, that really is definitely not. Yeah, I wasn't on about that. Yeah.

Lost to lost to a point. I mean, people were doing movies and other stuff at that point, too.

So I think that what happens is you do have a vision. I think I honestly think like Abrams and all those guys, they have visions of the ends of these things or Martin.

It's just that there's other constraints outside their story that make it rushed.

So I don't I don't fault them for that. But if you want me to be absolutely critical, I I'm OK with the lost ending, but it wasn't great.

But I think that the same thing, though, it was just kind of like toward the end, not not necessarily the end point itself, but for the last maybe five to six episodes, you are winging it.

Like, it's just like it's just like you're trying to solve stuff and wrap everything up so quick and you just can't do it.

And it just doesn't work. You know, I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. And that's it.

And that's in Westworld, at least with Westworld, it sounds like it might die like a kind of a good death.

And that like, yeah, but they're not trying to wrap anything up. That's what I'm saying.

Yeah, they're just like, yeah, we're spinning. We'll keep we'll leave it open and see what happens.

You know, and that's what's annoying about. And I saw the same graph I think you did on the viewership.

And I was like, wow, that's like crazy because Westworld Westworld's a great Westworld's actually probably one of the best examples, in my opinion, of that.

And that I absolutely loved season one. Like I that was a the ending.

The season one was amazing to me. Yes.

And then I and then I and I started to watch season two and I think I got three episodes in and I was just like, it's not for me anymore.

Like that is, yeah, very, very common responses. You know, I lost me in season two and I just didn't care anymore.

Yeah. And I didn't go back and watch everything. And don't get me got wrong.

Like, you know, the guy from Breaking Bad, he's a great actor.

But I don't know. I just didn't really add too much to the I don't know, whatever.

I don't even want to speculate because I've seen like images of season three, I think season four.

And it's nowhere near what I expected it would look like at this point.

So, right. Yeah. So I'm just kind of like, I don't know.

I don't want to criticize because I don't know what the stories are.

So, no, they're they're trying to they've totally ditched the whole Westworld thing.

They're trying to be really pretentious. And this is about meaning of life and all that crap.

And it's just, you know what? No, I will say that I still listen to the soundtracks, though.

They're very good. So Raymond DeWalt, Duval, D. Duval, D.

He does the actual soundtracks on the new Game of Thrones or the old Game of Thrones, too.

I thought it was a good book adaptation.

The consensus that I see on Twitter in general is meh, whatever.

Really?

Okay.

Yeah.

Yeah.

And again, I don't know the source material.

We're just in a different circle.

So, yeah, so that's it.

Yours is probably outside more of the sci-fi fantasy realm than mine is.

So, I thought it was, I read the first seven books, I think, which

they're huge, huge books.

And I read the first seven and I enjoyed it.

It just kind of got to where I want to read.

I need to read something else.

Like I need to not read this and I have never gone back.

That being said, though, I always felt like it was really well

created for a movie, if you wanted to say.

Like it and they ended up doing, you know, the show itself, but I

don't know.

I thought the first season was okay.

That's fine.

I didn't have a problem with it, but it's just, yeah, whatever.

Didn't didn't hook me, you know.

If it didn't hook you by now, though, I'm not sure that's going

to because there's a lot of not repeating patterns, but like

going back to our double cross this, double cross that kind of

thing.

It's all in the book.

So it's again, it's almost like a little bit of a Game of

Dragons thing.

Sorry, Game of Thrones thing where you know, there's an end

in sight and you know, then an author has already written that

end. But I wonder if there's going to be, not filler episodes,

but well, let me take that back.

Even with season one, I remember one or two of the episodes

being like, okay, all right.

That's kind of like didn't progress the story that much. Not

sure why we did this probably because it was cheap budget to

make. But yeah, I don't know.

It'll be interesting to see the season two of that.

I'm assuming that got greenlit.

I don't know.

What the... I think it did.

No, I think season two is in the greenlit.

Pretty sure of that.

I know. It's not that I'm getting sick of the episodes.

list, we're entering a good, pretty good spiel of straight

up Clone Wars episodes.

So next week we're going to do episodes six, seven, and eight

of season two, Weapons Factory, Legacy of Terror, and Bringing

Invaders. None of those are actually tied into them.

So we may be kind of in that middle part of the season where

we're only getting one story arcs.

So we'll have to see.

But yeah, let's tackle three next week.
