Anakin Skywalker

Anakin Skywalker is a central figure in the Star Wars saga, and his life story forms the spine of the prequel trilogy. Born on the desert planet of Tatooine, Anakin, played by Jake Lloyd in 'The Phantom Menace' and Hayden Christensen in 'Attack of the Clones' and 'Revenge of the Sith', was a Force-sensitive human whose coming was prophesied by ancient Jedi scriptures to bring balance to The Force.

Anakin was discovered by Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, who believed that Skywalker was the Chosen One of the prophecy. Raised as a slave on Tatooine alongside his mother Shmi, Anakin's prodigious skill as a pilot, combined with his strong connection to the Force, drew Qui-Gon's attention. Anakin was later taken from his home at a young age to train under Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi by the approval of Jedi Council of the Galactic Republic.

Anakin's Skywalker's character is fraught with inner Turmoil, struggle and tragic downfall. His love interest with Padmé Amidala, a relationship forbidden by the Jedi Code and his fear of losing his loved ones led him onto the path of the Dark Side. This emotional tug-of-war gave rise to feelings of anger, frustration and impatience - leading him down a path that was complex, difficult and ultimately tragic.

His transformation into Darth Vader, one of cinema's most enduring villains, represents the culmination of Anakin's journey from promising young Jedi to the dark lord of the Sith. This dramatic fall from grace, his manipulation by the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, and ultimate redemption through his son Luke Skywalker, are key narrative arcs within the Star Wars saga.

Despite his vilification as Darth Vader, Anakin's legacy is not all darkness. His children, Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa, play pivoting roles in the rebellion against the tyrannical rule of the Galactic Empire. His actions in the original trilogy's conclusion during 'Return of the Jedi', where he sacrifices himself to destroy the Emperor, fulfil the prophecy that foretold he would restore balance to the Force.

Anakin Skywalker remains one of the most significant characters in the Star Wars universe, representing both the potential for greatness and the threat of personal downfall. His story continues to captivate audiences with its timeless themes of temptation, redemption and the enduring struggle between good and evil.

"Later on, is the right when he's saved by Anakin flying in, there's a panel dedicated to her gun spooling up."

"Of course, that's the original trigger that gets Obi-Wan and Anakin to come to the planet."

"But maybe that's the point, is that you're supposed to feel so much for the Jedi and Anakin at this point."

"And of course, Anakin's taken away, so they don't know if he's going to get back or not either."

"So one thing I remember asking you in the last podcast was, you had mentioned that Anakin had dropped his lightsaber and Obi-Wan was handing it back to him."

"I love that little bit, especially what is this page 76. There's two panels there where Anakin says the first panel, Anakin says, you're trained to become a Jedi is all I've ever wanted."

"But I think it's great that you can see him laying the groundwork to to get Anakin out of the Jedi Order."

"I do not believe he does. I think he is the next apprentice. He wants Anakin to be the next apprentice."

"Yeah, he's done. He was out. And so so Palpatine is trying to get Anakin out of the orders to turn him."

"So when Palpatine was trying to get Anakin to leave the Jedi, we find out later that had Anakin left the order."

"Well, it depends. Yeah. If he would have made his move and suddenly Anakin's like, you know, I'm following this dude now."

"So this theme contains Obi Wan Obi Wan, because Anakin has repaired the ship."

"And Anakin says, I can fix it."

"And Anakin having made some friends, right."

"Like, it's like a, like Anakin being able to fix the thing in like a minute's notice."

"The panels where they're with Kolata is talking to Anakin like I'm sorry we had"

"So do you think the overall theme for this entire comic is to show that Anakin"

"wants because Anakin even says like like he said don't believe you and he's like"

"thought through how powerful it would have been if he had said no Anakin we"

"The final scene, or the final page, where Anakin is like, I want to be back in."

"Something has to, some thread has to tie Anakin's fall together."

"would Anakin have that final page there where, OK, yeah, I want to be a Jedi?"

"And well, then Anakin would have left the order."

"They show up and so Anakin's like, wow, that's cool."

"I still contest that if they would have just skipped out that I don't know if Anakin would have joined back."

"OK, so I think overall, we thought that the Obi-Wan Anakin comic series"

"I am I am but but I want to say that that you see Anakin grow physically and then you don't"

"And she's about to go, she's like, she's so pissed that she's going to go figure out who killed Padme and what all happened with Anakin and all that kind of stuff."

"not just the person that the comic is named after, the Obi-Wan Kenobi, but also with Anakin."

"I got more about Obi-Wan than Anakin."

"The point of this journey is the character development between he and Anakin."

"Okay, so first off, let's talk about Obi-Wan not wanting to take Anakin."

"He thinks that Anakin is not ready."

"But then Anakin's kind of like, he doesn't, to be fair, he's not throwing a fit or anything,"

"You know, it's a legitimate complaint, I think, from Anakin."

"Right, because if Yoda can see anything, he can see that Anakin is going to build resentment."
