And today we are reviewing another Clone Wars episode, which I'm sure you're surprised at.

But also, we've gone across a little bit of different, I shouldn't say different media,

because technically Visions episode 4 is not a different media,

but it's definitely a completely different media from The Clone Wars.

And then also we've got a comic, or a slice of a comic maybe I should say, to talk about today.

When you think of craft breweries, what do you think is kind of the OG craft brewery?

If you go OG, I'm going to whip out Pete's Wicked Ale.

It reeks marijuana, holy crap.

Yeah, that's one that like... and you shouldn't be drinking beer in your car.

But if it gets all over your car, like let's just say the can explodes, how's that sound? On a hot day.

Then that is not one you want to be driving around in.

That would be a problem for multiple reasons.

No, yeah, tons, that's what I'm saying. You get pulled over and you're just like, oh man.

The marijuana smell would actually be the least of my concern at that point.

How do I convince you?

Alright, let's start talking about... so we branched out this week.

We got The Clone Wars episode, which...

And we should talk about The Clone Wars episode because we watched episodes 2 and 3 last week, did our podcast on them.

And then I just immediately assumed that we were going to be watching 4.

And I sent you over the list of stuff earlier in the week to...

You know, we kind of converse earlier in the week just to make sure that we're on the same page about what we need to watch,

when we're going to record, all that kind of good stuff.

And you immediately sent back, you're like, no, no, no, we're jumping way ahead.

You're not following the list!

We're not following the list.

And that is my bad, I should have looked at the list.

I should have just kind of assumed that 4 was the next one.

But we are jumping all the way to episode 17 of season 2, called Bounty Hunters.

And after watching the episode, do you understand why we jumped ahead?

I don't.

Nope, not a clue.

Yeah, and maybe follow-up episodes will show us why we jumped so far ahead.

But... and then we end up... I think we watched 2 or 3 episodes at 17, 18, and 19, and then we jumped back to episode 4.

I just... I don't understand where that fits in the timeline based on the story we just watched.

However, I will say I enjoyed the story we just watched.

Oh, sure. Well, let's not tell a lie.

Yeah. It was really, really good.

Basically, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, and... I keep wanting to say Hayden.

I don't know why. I think it's after reading that big ol' Empire...

like that book of an Empire article that came out this week.

And Anakin all go to a small world that is...

Oh, Felucia! It was Felucia.

Because I remember them saying Felucia, and I was like, oh, that Felucia.

It's Dr. Seuss World again.

They land down there. They end up helping...

Well, immediately, right when they land, of course they crash, you know, get shot down.

They are looking to steal a spaceship, which I was kind of like,

okay, well, that was really quick in the episode.

We're just now looking to steal a spaceship to get back up there.

I get it, because you're trying to get back to the battle and all that kind of stuff.

But really procuring spaceships from poor country folk is pretty harsh when you think about it from the outside world.

They do it all the time. You can tell from their attitude.

They're like, yeah, we'll bring it back.

Yeah, yeah.

So anyways, they find a transport inside a barn.

Then they find out that all the people in the town are scared.

And they get pointed at guns with bounty hunters point guns at them.

And it turns out that actually the town has hired the bounty hunters to defend against this Weekay gang.

I'm sure you can pretty much guess who runs the Weekay gang.

But it comes around and collects a tithe pretty much to them.

And I thought it was a good episode.

I didn't catch the Seven Samurai thing when I watched it. Did you?

The what?

Kurosawa. Kurosawa's Seven Samurai.

No.

Have you ever seen that movie?

No.

You need to. It's a very good movie. It's actually really good.

So Kurosawa had like seven films that everybody raves about.

There's really only that one probably that I really, really enjoyed that was really good.

But basically it's about these Seven Samurai who defend this town from this army of people.

And it's pretty bloody. It's pretty good. I liked it.

Well, this was A Bug's Life.

Oh, you're going to have to explain that one.

It's exactly the plot of A Bug's Life.

Is Bug's Life? I'm thinking back to Bug's Life. Is that a Seven Samurai movie?

I guess it's the same plot as Seven Samurai because I'm not familiar with Seven Samurai.

So you have these meager farmers.

And they bring in some mercenaries that really aren't all that they portray themselves as.

I remember the plot.

Well, then why am I explaining it?

As you explain it, I'm remembering the big fat caterpillar guy.

Yeah.

That's Bug's Life.

There are a couple of bees movies and other things that have been infiltrated in my brain as my kids grew up.

And the mean people come in. They actually ride in like...

Are they crickets or wasps or something?

Are they crickets?

Yeah, they're crickets.

But he says, let's ride!

So they're portrayed as a motorcycle gang kind of thing.

Same sort of thing here.

Yeah, yeah.

It's really it's a bug's life all over again.

Yeah, they are the the scroungy seven hang around and defend

and help show them how to defend their hometown.

That's exactly the seven.

So right?

Yeah, that's exactly Chris.

I want me to I never put those two together either.

So that's that's pretty enlightening.

I enjoy that.

Yes, so so I wonder now like I'm thinking about like how many

other movies have I seen probably have yes, probably seven,

you know archetypes.

Yeah.

Well, you say archetypes.

Honestly, the you don't think there's a window.

You don't think there's a one-to-one between like the

bounty hunters and a bug and Bugs Life and no, I was going

to say that the bounty hunters here.

The they didn't really stand out all that much.

I don't know.

You have the hulking guy that ended up being the little weak

guy. I think that's kind of something that's probably seen

and I can see that in other movies.

Sure.

Like the big for the big the big caterpillar guy.

He's like the soft warm fuzzy, you know, like in the end.

He's like this whole you know,

yeah, and the maybe maybe the the girl with the horns.

I don't even remember the other two.

What are the other two?

You have awesome awesome helmet guy, which I fell in love

with. Oh, see he's the neck snapping guy, right?

Yeah.

Yeah, he was great.

Yeah, he was good.

I enjoyed that.

I want to know more about that kid.

I hope yeah, I hope we learn more about that character.

He was by far my favorite character the episode.

He was personality traits loves snapping necks in there and

then throw it throwing his hat as a shield and like jumping

on it and like oh,

man, I'm so good just like Captain America. I bet he I bet

he does.

I bet he does have a one-to-one person inside Kurosawa's

seven-cent rather than I just can't I wouldn't I would see

it seems very it seems very martial artist.

totally blanking on right now.

Anyways, yeah, I enjoy this episode and I don't I can't

I probably should have looked ahead but I don't know if 18

is a continuation of this episode.

I kind of don't see how it would be this was because it

feels like a serial thing kind of it all done at once is

a bottle episode.

It's it's self-contained.

Yeah, I liked it.

I thought it was really good.

It was maybe maybe maybe one of the top four or five episodes

that we've seen so far in my opinion.

I wouldn't go that high.

It was enjoyable.

It was a good story.

I liked it.

But the most interesting part to me was the Jedi had no

interest in playing a team, you know, we'll help you know,

they had no interest in that.

Yeah, that little guy little little a Terrapin dude had to

either really, you know, he's really back about it.

I mean, they say please they crash on a planet with the

rolling chipmunk mongoose people and they you must you must

fight with us and they land here and they're like, yeah,

we don't we don't care.

We're just trying to get off this planet.

Yeah, I never been a juxtaposition between those two

things.

But yeah, you're totally right.

I mean, it's it's two absolute different.

Okay.

Well, the mongoose people were involved.

They were involved with it.

They were they knew it or not.

So they were saying you're this is your war.

You need to fight these guys.

This was totally separate from the stuff they're dealing

with right there.

They're not dealing with gangs, right?

Yeah, this was my say.

Yeah.

Yeah, and also to and also to I wonder how much showing a

Hondo actually showing up just made them decide that they

did want to help defend.

You know what I mean?

Maybe they're like, all right, look, it's just some random

my biker gang local, you know things.

We're not too worried about them.

You know what I mean?

That's not our fight.

But then when Honda shows up, they're like, okay, did you

notice Honda ship that was huge?

It was I noticed I noticed that we heard space that UFO.

Yes, when it departed when it was like rising up and spinning

and then took off.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Well this this was right after Indy 4 came out.

It was and it was it was a young red hot off.

Yeah, right for Crystal Skull.

Yeah, same shot.

Same same and also the way it kind of like did the dip and

then flew off like it was like this kind of like like 50s

like sci-fi motif kind of thing where it's just like, I mean

to be clear here the sound in Indy 4 it went multi-dimensional

and vanished but but yes, the spaceship thing going on.

Yeah.

What is the alien guy from Raygun Bugs Bunny Marvin the

Martian Marvin Martian?

Yeah.

Yeah, like I can see him getting into a ship and it doing the

same kind of dip and then fly off kind of thing like cartoon

you almost yeah, it was very cartoony.

That's right.

Yeah, it was good.

It was good episode.

I enjoyed it.

I thought it was good.

It was collapsed in I wonder if we're going to see the

bounty hunters anymore.

I kind of think we may see helmet dude and we may see the

grill Zabrak the like kind of the leader again.

Maybe I'm wrong.

I don't know Honda showed up was interesting to see him

again to see what I would think that this is both of these

are in the same year.

Technically, they're 22 BBY.

I'm going to say both of these.

I mean, the last episodes that we watched with Hondo.

It's it's it amazes me that he's gone from the small pirate

gang to owning this massive UFO like ship.

But yeah, who knows who knows what Honda?

I mean, I guess he got away from Doku and is not too worried

about it.

So yeah, I don't know.

It's very interesting.

It was good.

on that and also the same thing with the kind of like the

the whole do whole do the whole do maneuver from the the

second in chronological order film that kind of like

shipwrecking apart that slow motion like I did.

We saw that earlier.

I think and was it the last visions?

I think it was the last the visions number three and we're

kind of like, okay, it's kind of you know, right you saw

that you saw it and you're like, that's a cool part.

I wonder if everybody else thinks it's a cool part and

then you just kind of have it and I'll tell you that it

works but this episode the cool part of this episode was

speed boots.

Yes, they were cool.

I thought that was cool when they were at speed boots.

Those were like speed like high heels, right?

And they and they're like open up the vision.

And modified it so that she could do the famous Jedi lightning speed thing.

Yeah.

Yeah.

That was no one ever does.

Yeah.

But wait, I sent sarcasm in the last comment.

It's such a useful thing.

Yeah, I agree.

And she used it well.

Yes.

She saw that, that, that the girl was about to get shot and she

chopped the dude's hand off.

I thought it was great.

I like how she kind of bent down and unlocks and it was just like, yeah, it was good.

Yeah.

That's what, well, so, so I actually enjoyed that Jedi character.

Like I, I, I didn't necessarily need to see her go from Padawan to Jedi in this.

And, and you gotta remember there's a different time in the universe.

There's not really anybody to teach her anymore or master that.

So like, like I, I understand that that's what they needed to do.

I think they should have probably made her look like a non Padawan from the

beginning, like just a young Jedi.

You know what I mean?

Like maybe like the Jedi that we saw in the Darth Maul comic, like just something

that's like somebody that's trained in The Force has some really cool abilities.

Has not yet figured them all out yet.

Has not figured out what they want to do.

Jedi wise, like, like who do they help?

Who do they not help?

That kind of stuff.

I didn't need the whole cutting off of the, the Padawan braid and all that kind of

stuff, but I get it.

I mean, I get that that's what they're trying to, to, to portray, you know, is,

is the, the man in the helmet led her to this moment so that her former master

could see, you know, or that she would learn from the teachings of her former

master on this planet.

But I thought it was good.

Yeah.

I thought it was good.

And I think, I'm, I'm, I think we're actually kind of similar in the fact that

we ranked it two or three out of the four that we've seen.

I mean, I think it's, I think it's, it's middle, it's, it's middle ground.

It's not, it's not amazing.

Like that first episode, but it's also not the boy bear, the boy, the, uh,

hut band episode either.

So nothing will ever be that.

I know.

I pray.

It was, it was so awesome for me to turn that on and remember that episode when we

started watching that.

And then that was your second anime after you kind of liked the first one.

Yeah.

And I was like, Oh, here we go.

Here we go.

He's going to be so grumpy about this.

It's going to be so great.

It's good.

He's, he is going to not like this episode.

I knew you'd make it through it.

I knew you'd, you'd go and plow through it for the team.

But, um, but yeah, I was like, he is not going to like this at all.

This is great.

Yeah.

It's funny how I, that, that truly was a hate watch.

I was like, I hate everything about this, but I have to watch this.

This one, as I said, I was so bored because I don't know any of the characters and I

don't care what happens to them.

That it was, it was an effort not to just like cut it off and say, I couldn't, I

couldn't finish.

Well, the thing about this, think about the second one too, with the band playing

and all that kind of stuff.

I was just like, Oh, this is cheese.

I've seen these kinds of, you know, these kinds of anime before, like the high

school pocket anime thing.

I get it.

That's cool.

You know, it's a cool adaptation of it, but then it gets to the end of that song.

And I actually kind of found the song a little catchy.

I was just like, all right, this is pretty good song.

And, and yeah, so that was the only redeeming quality for that episode.

All right, let's move on.

Comics.

We have not, we haven't reviewed a comic in probably four or five podcasts.

So what we're reviewing today is a 501 plus one, which was a small, about 10 page

comic in an annual for the Age of Republic series that we already read a Master

Windu story out of this one.

So this is another small story that's supposed to give more depth to characters.

And my opinion is probably these annuals are kind of just trying at trying out new

artists, new storytellers, that kind of stuff, just to see where ideas are coming

from and who they may want to have, you know, circle back in to do other comics

later.

10 page thing.

It's Rex lawn tea, who is a general that maybe I felt like I should know who he was

before he died, but I'm spoiler alert.

But I didn't like, he looks familiar, but I'm kind of like, I'm going back through

my mind.

I'm like, I don't remember anybody that looks like this.

That's also a Jedi general.

He does kind of look familiar a little bit.

Maybe he's attacking the clones.

Maybe like he was like a background character.

So like, like he just looks a little familiar and they call him general.

So he's definitely, you know, been there, you know, for at least a little while.

He's a Jedi.

He's a general from day one.

I know, but I'm just saying like, he's like, like, I feel like they're true.

I feel like Rex and them are treating him as though he's an actual, cause they're

kind of surprised, I think, when he goes down.

Yes.

And he does go down and he does go down like the fourth panel.

And so that's another surprising thing that you're just kind of like, oh, okay,

well that Jedi just died.

Oh, he's defending Jar Jar Binks.

Well, we know where this is going.

I don't know.

It was, it was a neat little short story.

I enjoy, I enjoyed seeing Rex kind of take over cause he knew Jar Jar couldn't

handle it, but I, you know, I don't know.

It shows that they're willing to bend the rules when they need to in wartime.

Or if they, or if they feel that they really need to for their men or their

clones, you know, I don't know.

What'd you think?

I thought it was pretty, pretty good.

Nice little slice of life.

Like, you know, a little, little mini.

That's a great way to describe those, those smaller stories.

Just a slice of life, just a little bitty glimpse into something that

happened that may have been forgotten.

Yeah.

I like that.

That's a good, yeah, that's a good way to describe it.

It really got me on page 25, the middle bit of the book.

which is just no words. It's just the the clone trooper.

All right.

Okay, when he's realizing do you know the panel talking about

you have it?

I'm looking for right there.

They say what are our orders and he looks over at Jar Jar

who's of course completely incapable of leading.

He's caught up with the Jedi being killed and he's just

looking.

He's just staring and oh the middle panel.

I'm looking at it right now.

Yeah, that is a good that is a very good panel.

It is because because you know what he's thinking immediately

and that panel conveys it very very well.

This artist this artist does a good job because I think it's

the next page 26.

Hold on.

Let me see.

Yeah, this artist.

I like the way that this artist kind of draws panels or at

least frames the characters inside the panels page 29 and

I wrote down in my notes that I should have read this earlier

so that I could go around and say this inside my house.

Nobody would know exactly what I'm talking about, but I

really enjoyed the like dark like the dark the Dark Jar Jar

in the background saying no sir, not exactly.

I like the way that panel like forms itself.

There's like there's three distinct panels one in the middle

and the first one you're like, oh here comes a badass and

then you're like, oh, it's Jar Jar, you know blah blah blah

and then you're like, oh you just dropped the lightsaber.

I don't know.

that he understands that Rex knows exactly who he is, you

know, then he just loses the lightsabers.

It falls out of his hand.

But yeah, it's good.

I think that was a very good way to describe these types

an entire platoon of or no battalion of droids and the

I finally sat down and rented Ghostbusters Afterlife.

Oh, I OK, I'm not OK.

You you review it. You're a report.

Wow. That was a that was a that was a prompt. OK, so

I had to go watch because I've been holding out.

I had to go watch the red letter media guys do their review of it.

And man, they were they were pretty savage.

They tore it apart and they were doing it.

I get it. They were doing it from a standpoint of this.

This would have made a good movie if they'd done this.

And I didn't watch it in that spirit.

I watched it truly as like a love letter to Ghostbusters fans,

because as they correctly point out, it's been 38 years, 38 years. Right.

The it's it's well, long, long past the sequel time.

So I watched this movie just to see some Ghostbusters stuff

and enjoy it. And it truly was the biggest love letter to me.

Actually, kind of got close to the line towards the end there.

But I gave this film a very long leash.

It took the whole it took up all the leash.

It almost crossed the line, but I enjoyed it.

I really, really did enjoy it.

I loved it. I loved that movie.

And I loved letting my kids watch it because like I felt like they were.

I mean, they're a little older, but about the same time that I watched

Ghostbusters one and the wonder that Ghostbusters one brought.

Yeah, Ghostbusters two cool soundtrack.

I enjoyed it still. But but but but Ghostbusters one was really like magical

for me as a kid and especially my son.

See, my son watched this one.

And my daughter, my daughter loved it, too.

Partially because of what's his name, Finn or whatever his name is.

The son, the main kid from Stranger Things.

The Stranger Things. Yeah. Finn is this the Star Wars guy.

And it was atrocious. It was so bad.

And I was just like, I don't want to ruin it.

Scooby Doo, Scooby Doo, ghosts and crap.

It's just just flawed from beginning to end.

But then when I saw the trailers for this guy, I was kind of thinking, OK,

this is pretty good. Like I enjoy like this looks this looks very mystery ish.

that I thought, I mean, what is it going to hurt?

So it lured me in.

You had FOMO overrode this.

OK, yeah.

So I started the first episode and I'm like, I'm going to watch it

until the moment I don't care and maternal.

And I understood.

Yeah, this isn't Star Wars.

I don't have to sit through anything.

Yeah, it's it's like a 50 minute episode.

And I watched the whole. Wow.

That's a lot.

It's like two or three seasons of this thing.

It's not I have never heard of this.

I saw it and I'm not I don't keep up with anime all that much.

But like, usually I can like kind of tell like what Fringe Wise is really good.

And then I started reading about this and I was really amazed

that you brought this up, number one.

And then number two,

that surprises me that there are multiple seasons of 50 minute episodes.

That is a lot of work.

Yeah, well, I just want to point out I am a man of many and varied tastes.

You are. And I should I shouldn't knock you on stuff.

I mean, you did enjoy anime, so.

But now I you know what?

I can spoil it for you.

I can spoil the first one word.

And I about a third of the way into it.

Okay, so so I love my Zaki.

I love his films.

He's amazing.

I got kind of like I had to take a break from his movies because my kids

watched Ponyo so much.

It's a great movie.

And I and if you have kids, it's a great anime movie.

And I think I just watched it so much that I couldn't watch anymore.

My Zaki for a while.

And then I'm back to understanding why he's looked at and revered as like

just an amazing amazing anime person in his studio.

I should give him full credit on everything.

It's his studio.

But yeah, I'm always doing the movie.

I mean, he's you know, there's a lot of people.

The thing about him is I like him because he's like this, I don't want to say a tortured artist, but he's also like this guy that's like, I'm done. I'm done with anime. I'm out. And he means it. I honestly fully think he means it. It's like me and Twitter. It's like, he's like, I can't take this anymore. I'm done. I'm quitting. I'm out. I'm retired. Don't contact me. And he hates talking to the media. He hates all this kind of stuff. And, um, and then like literally, I should say like clack work, but like within a year he's like, yeah, I'm working on one more movie. Um, yeah, yeah. Porco Russo was a great movie. It's about a bunch of pigs.

And then, um, I'm trying to think of other movies. He's got a lot of good movies. So yeah, if you didn't like that though, I don't know. Cause that's probably his bellwether or I shouldn't say bellwether, but that's, that's the one that, that I think anybody that doesn't watch a lot of anime could watch and be like, okay, this isn't bad. I get it. There's a cool story here. You know what I mean? I like the art. I may not like the, you know, the way that the art works, but, um, yeah, if you didn't like that one, I don't know.

And that's why I picked it because I determined that that, that was my, um, what's the word I'm looking for?

Strap. That was your, uh, that was your catalyst. That was your Arbinger.

It's like a, what's the, what's the, it's a strap and you've sharpened blades on it.

you know, the thing you strap on and then you get behind somebody. Now, if you, if I didn't like, if I didn't like that spirited away, the people review people, people cherish.

Uh, then, then no, that is, and I kind of knew that already. I really expected to like it.

I'll tell you something. I'll tell you something that I, I would actually per, well, I don't know. I don't, I don't know if I'd do this to you.

There is a movie by my Zaki called grave of the fireflies. And it is, it is, it is up there for me as I can't say I enjoy it.

Um, but I understand how it changes kind of moviemaking. Like it is that big of a deal. Like it, like you literally, like, I don't know how to describe it.

And I don't want to describe it because it could ruin the movie, but if you want, um, I try to think of a comparative, uh, American history acts, maybe like something that's just so, uh, so different that it makes you rethink how movies can be done.

Uh, gray with a fireflies is something to watch. I don't recommend it. Uh, this is a very, don't, don't, don't, don't watch it with your family.

I mean, it's, it's, I don't know how, I don't know how to describe it. I can't describe it without giving anything away. So I don't want to, I don't want to get, but, but if you wanted to look something up on the net about great fireflies, I'm sure you'd discover what's going on.

But, um, that's a pretty powerful movie. That's, that's a, that's a American history X for me. That's a, that's one of those ones where I'm just like, wow, like I'm going to be thinking about this for a long time.

Not in the same sense as I loved Inception. And I'm going to think about how the writer wrote all these different, this is a different kind of like, I'm going to be thinking about this for a long time.

So, um, I don't know, your choice, create the fireflies and then my executive is really good.

Hmm. Okay. Uh, something else that I watched recently, um, thanks to our friend William, who's been on the podcast. He he's like on this journey. Yeah. He's, he's on this journey of, of, of watching journey.

I saw like something from like Southern California. I love his journey. I love where he's going. No. Yes. So, so yeah. Describe, describe exactly what he's doing. Cause he took a specific list.

Oh, I, I actually don't know. He posts every now and then discord now I'm watching this and it's always something from, you know, the forties or fifties or whatever.

And, and he, he posted, uh, I'm watching the general, which I'd always, I knew was a, a revolutionary classic, you know, um, groundbreaking film, but it's from the silent era.

And I just don't, I don't get into that. I, it's too, it's too tedious. What year? That's not even the right word. Uh, 20 something, 27, 25, 20.

Okay. So around Metropolis, uh, when, when was Metropolis 27, I believe it was pretty, it was, yeah, it was like late twenties. I think I thought Metropolis. Let's look this up, John, you keep talking and I'll do the finger typing.

So I S is like, like with rezero. I started, I saw it was on Amazon. So I started the general and when the train, it's all about a train chase.

When the train chase started, I got, I was hooked. Like, this is, this is good. This is entertaining. And the, it's actually, uh, it portrays this thing that happened in the civil war.

So not only is it people from almost a hundred years ago, but it's people from almost a hundred years ago, portraying something from math, 160 years ago.

Yeah. It's way back, totally foreign, uh, you know, to our current way of life. And it was so entertaining. So incredible.

Yeah. Seeing, seeing a whole screenplay written on something that happened, uh, and it's, it's like, it's so entertaining to watch.

Almost two generations before would be very interesting in the silent era.

I have to agree with that.

I haven't seen this.

I actually didn't say I recognize the movie when he talked about it, but I may have to

go back and watch it now.

It really is worth watching.

It's so good.

And so I started reading all about it because like this is this is amazing.

Like I you know, here I am.

I just discovered this gem that everybody else already knows about because it revolutionized

film.

And it was really funny to read that in the story, he's on the Confederate side.

He's a Confederate soldier.

And the Union side is portrayed as as you know, they're the enemy.

They're kind of bumbling and fools and what have you.

And he did that.

I'm blanking on the guy's name was not Charlie Chaplin was his name.

Silent film guy.

Buster Charlie.

Oh, but you must get Buster Keaton picked the side of the Confederacy because he did

not believe that audiences would root for the Union.

Now that is amazing.

What that's amazing.

Yeah, I'm going to talk about a shift in sensibilities.

Yeah, after January 6, I don't want to get into all that.

But like, I almost see it like I'm almost kind of like, okay, I get it.

Like, you know what I mean?

say they can read about it.

I thought it was neat just because it's hard for me to imagine somebody coming up with

that kind of stuff back then.

But that fix it fits in exactly what you're talking about with this movie is that like,

it's like, how do you go back 60 years and portray something you don't mean that you

technically were part of and you're probably parents were part of it.

Your grandparents were you know what I mean?

Yes, I actually got a bit.

It's probably it's probably the same mystique that works for me, or that works on me for

like Band of Brothers and stuff like that.

Like I can't I can't I can't.

It's not that that situation can never happen again.

It's just that in my lifetime, I've never been in a situation like that was right.

And to know that people that I have met in my life were in that situation makes it amazing

to me.

You know, I mean, like it makes it makes it something I'm very interested in and want

to know more about.

And if you think about that, probably at the same time, that's about, you know, 60 years

back whenever they made this movie.

So yeah, yeah, your grandpa may have fought in this war, but yet, you don't know that

much about it, or at least you don't think you do.

Or here's a new story about it.

I don't probably whole, you know, sociological dissertations written about this this time

frame of about 60 years ago is holds some form of nostalgia for you, for people in general,

because yeah, it's like, well, that was your grandfather's time.

Yeah, exactly.

So you can relate.

But it's also far enough back that it's unrelatable.

And I would say even more, you hear stories about it, but you hear gloss, not glossed

over, you hear golden stories about it.

Like back when you don't really hear the bad parts about it, you know what I mean?

Like you hear the good parts about it.

Like you hear I from my grandparents, I didn't I didn't maybe I'm maybe I'm, you know, different

or whatever.

But it wasn't like it wasn't like this is the bad parts of back when this is more along

the lines of like, this is the kind of the hero you hear about the heroes and also to

what do you call that?

We're survivors bias, where it's like, or was guilt?

And it's not CGI, it's not fake, you modern people. It's him risking, literally risking his life to make this movie.

Yeah, but you could talk about it. What's so funny though is that like, I'm thinking of Kong in the 30s and 40s. It's not motion animation stuff.

But you could think of like, think about saying that about some movie that came out in the 40s and 50s where it's like, you know, that building really fell on him.

He just happened to, you know, like that kind of stuff. But then you go back to 27. Holy crap.

Like that, like, like, like they, people could have died on this movie. Nobody knows about it.

You know what I mean? Like that was a rough period. You know what I mean?

That was a very rough period.

That's what I'm saying. Like, like, that's, that's amazing to even think that they were doing this kind of stuff.

And then like, like, I'd love to read like a biography about somebody that actually worked on the set for a year.

You know what I mean? Like this is what really happened. You know what I mean? Like this is, this is the real deal.

I will watch this movie and I'm fine watching some title movies. It does not bother me.
