Yuzzum

The Yuzzum are a species native to the Forest Moon of Endor, much like the more popularly known Ewoks, within the Star Wars universe. They are depicted as having long limbs, powdery fur, and large ears, allowing them to hear over great distances. Furthermore, their personality traits are described as being fidgety and fractious with a great penchant for leaping. These bipedal beings are omnivorous and often scavenge for food, besides being expert at hunting using crude tools and tactics. They are also known to possess a unique vocal range, exhibiting an ability to produce a series of melodious sounds and ultrasounds, often causing a soporific effect on certain creatures.

From a cultural perspective, Yuzzums lead a simple, tribal lifestyle. Their society is primarily organized into hunting bands. They dwell in the trees of Endor's dense forest and their habitations are built from branches and leaves. They are proven to be less technologically advanced compared to their Ewok counterparts. However, Yuzzums are notably resilient and resourceful as they have adapted themselves skillfully to the dangerous ecosystems of Endor. Interestingly, they were only seen briefly in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, leaving vast stretches of their culture and lifestyle still a mystery within the Star Wars lore.
