Voxyn

The Voxyn were a species of genetically-engineered creatures in the Star Wars universe, specifically bred for Jedi hunting. The Emperor's Hand, Vergere, and the Yuuzhan Vong Shaper, Nen Yim, were responsible for their creation. The Voxyn were essentially hybrids of the Vornskrs, a force-sensitive creature from the planet Myrkr, and the Yuuzhan Vong's sentient 'tsaisi' creatures. Despite their terrifying appearance and vicious nature, Voxyn were unfortunately short-lived due to the genetic instability from their engineered creation.

Voxyn were highly adept at tracking Jedi due to their ability to sense The Force. These creatures were extremely fast, agile, and possessed both a deadly poisonous stinger and sonic screech. The first Voxyn encountered by the Jedi was on Dantooine where it killed several Jedi before it was slain. Ultimately, a mission to Myrkr was undertaken by the Jedi to destroy the last known Voxyn queen, eliminating the production of new Voxyn and putting an end to the deadly creatures.
