The Second Sister

The Second Sister, real name Trilla Suduri, is a central antagonist in the Star Wars universe, specifically in the 2019 video game: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. She is part of the Inquisitorious program which is a group of force-sensitive dark-side users tasked with hunting down the remaining Jedi during the reign of the Galactic Empire. Known as an elite member, she served directly under the command of Darth Vader and was characterized as one of the most ruthless Inquisitors.

Trilla Suduri was originally a Jedi Padawan to Cere Junda, a key character in the game, who later becomes a mentor to the game's protagonist, Cal Kestis. After being separated during the outbreak of Order 66, which saw Jedi across the galaxy executed, Suduri was captured by the Empire and tortured, leading to her transformation into the Second Sister.

This transformation was manipulated and leveraged by the Empire, with Suduri persuaded by Darth Vader and the Empire to embrace the dark side of The Force. Inquisitors, including Second Sister, are trained and manipulated to view the Jedi and their ways as traitorous, thus strengthening their resolve to hunt Jedi survivors.

In Jedi: Fallen Order, Second Sister's role is chiefly driven by her personal revenge against her former master, the aforementioned Cere Junda, whose actions, she believes, led to her capture and subsequent conversion. The Second Sister seeks to make her former master suffer as much as possible, both physically and emotionally.

However, despite her dark persona, the Second Sister is shown to have layers of complexity. There are moments where it's clear that behind the ruthless shell lies a deep sense of remorse and longing for a past life that was brutally taken from her. This makes her a fascinating and engaging character in the Star Wars canon.
