P'w'eck

The P'w'eck species are renowned in the extended Star Wars universe; they originated from the galaxy of Lehesu. Part of the sentient avian species, the P'weck are subservient to their Ssi-ruuvi masters. Characterized by their feathers, which come in numerous hues from white to black, P'weck possess bronze-colored eyes and an emblem of loyalty on their head. They have a lifespan significantly shorter than humans, and upon death, their bodies spontaneously decompose.

Interestingly, many P'weck felt oppressed by the Ssi-ruuvi and eventually staged a rebellion called the Shreeftut's Manifesto, under the guidance of the Revolution's leader, Lwothin. The rebellion sought freedom from the strict Ssi-Ruuk's caste system and the brutal process of entechment, where life energy was forcefully extracted for Ssi-Ruuk's technology. Despite the fact that their rebellion lacked the full support from their brethren, these P'weck Rebels set a landmark in their species' history.
