Ongree

The Ongree are a peculiar and distinct species from the Star Wars universe. They are an alien race hailing from the Skustell Cluster, precisely from the planetary system of Skustell. As far as appearances are concerned, the Ongree are distinguishably unique and are described as yellow eyed, jelly-like beings with floppy face tendrils and peculiar, clockwise rotating limbs. Their skin varies from grey to bluish while they stand between 1.2 to 1.6 meters tall.

They are revered for their diplomatic skill sets and have a strong reputation as successful arbitrators and interpreters. They are known to observe situations from multiple perspectives, partly owing to their physical ability to look forward and backward at the same time. Furthermore, the Ongree demonstrate their allegiance to the Galactic Republic, as seen during The Clone Wars where one Ongree Jedi, Pablo-Jill, fights valiantly for the Republic on the Geonosian battlefront. The Ongree continue to live in harmony with the vast diversity of species in the Star Wars universe, adding to its rich tapestry of intergalactic sociopolitical culture.
