Letaki

The Letaki are an extraterrestrial species that appears in the vast universe of the Star Wars franchise. They emerged from the Dungeon & Dragons inspired "Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game" resource book titled "Galaxy Guide 4: Alien Races", published by West End Games in 1989. These creatures are categorized as one of the bizarre alien species that inhabit the Star Wars galaxy.

Physically, the Letaki are characterized by their short and stout form, and they have no necks. Instead, their heads are attached directly to their bodies. They possess two arms which end with four-digit hands and have two legs with four-toed feet. The most peculiar trait found in Letaki species is their unique digestion system that lets them consume varieties of inorganic substances and derive sustenance from them. They are also identified to be able to mimic voices perfectly. The Letaki are generally non-violent, preferring to intimidate or bluff rather than fight. However, the Star Wars expanded universe does not provide much additional information regarding the Letaki's culture, society or history.
