Theelin

The Theelin are a hybrid species with humanoid features and a few distinctly alien traits that originate from the Star Wars universe. They are known for their unique and vibrantly colored skin, which can range from shades of pink, purple to even shades of orange and green. Theelin also possesses other physical features such as tails, elongated ears, and speckled patterns on their body. Their physical characteristics vary widely due to the fact that they are a hybrid species. Originally, Theelins come from the planet of Manaan, however, they can be found spread throughout the galaxy.

Theelin obtained a great deal of attention in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, where one of the characters named Riff Tamson was revealed to be a Theelin. Theelin culture is known by their rich artistic expression; most notably in the dance and the holofilm industry. This species is also appreciated for their elegance and grace. However, the fascinating aspect of the Theelin species is their rareness caused by a genetic mutation which resulted in the Theelin species being sterile. This led many Theelins to interbreed with other species just for the survival of their race, making pure-blooded Theelins incredibly rare by the time of the Galactic Civil War.
