Squib

The Squib is a diminutive sentient species in the Star Wars universe, often characterized by their trading and scavenging ways. Distinguished by their compact stature, the Squibs have colorful fur, large eyes, and sizable ears. Despite their small size, they possess a remarkable strength, making them excellent scrappers. Famed for their trading acumen and their love for bargaining, the Squib are born traders, believed to be able to 'sell sand on Tatooine' or 'ice on Hoth'. They often come across as insatiable collectors and hoarders, a trait that often leads to amusing encounters in the Star Wars lore.

Originating from the planet Skor II, Squibs prefer to inhabit urban settings and junkyards, far away from rural landscapes. Their government, the Squib Polyanarchy, reflects their chaotic and frenetic nature. Squibs have also shown their capability to grasp different languages, with Squibbian being their native language. Almost every Squib is an active part of their scavenging and trading culture. Their drive to bargain and accumulate goods often involves them in galactic events, including the Rebellion against the Galactic Empire where some Squib sympathizers helped gather intelligence. Despite their comic antics, Squibs provide a unique color to the rich folklore of Star Wars.
