Sedrian

The Sedrians were a species from the aquatic Outer Rim planet Sedri in the Star Wars universe. Their primary type of dwelling was known as "raft cities" - settlements held up by buoyant sea plants. Residing alongside the intelligent aquatic species in the Golden Sun, the Sedrians were semi-amphibious, capable of breathing both air and water. Their society was largely agrarian, known also for hunter-gatherer type lifestyles. They relied on the sea for sustenance, specifically the energy-rich se pods and sea plant harvest. The species possessed distinctive gold-colored eyes.

From a societal perspective, the Sedrians worshipped a deity known as the Golden Sun, which they considered to be an omnipotent being. They held festivals to honor it and believed it had the power to bestow boons or inflict misfortunes upon them. They were initially wary and distrustful of off-worlders, a sentiment explained by their former enslavement by an alien villain named Rokur Gepta. Despite these initial feelings of distrust, the Sedrians eventually permitted off-worlders after the intervention of the Starjammers and formed a partnership with the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
