Quermian

The Quermians were sentient beings that hailed from the planet Quermia, located in the galaxy's Mid Rim region. The species was not naturally birthed, but was a genetic construct originating from Xextos genomes. They were tall, towering up to 4 meters high, and had two sets of arms; one set located on the upper torso while another pair was attached from beneath the rib cage. Instead of hair, they had bony crests on the tops of their long skulls which were often colored differently, setting them apart from each other.

Quermians were known for their intelligence and typically portrayed as philosophers and thinkers, with an ability to see all sides of an argument. They also had advanced memory-recall ability which was considered their second brain. Quermians were often quiet, tended to speak only when necessary, and had a notable presence in the Jedi Order, with Jedi Master Yarael Poof being the most significant among them during the final years of the Galactic Republic.
