Prosset Dibs

Characters

Prosset Dibs was a Force-sensitive human male who held the title of Jedi Master during the last years of the Galactic Republic. He was known for his physical prowess and keen perception, skills that proved invaluable during his service to the Jedi Order. Dibs trained extensively in combat, establishing himself as an expert swordsman with a reputation that few could rival within the Order. His proficiency in lightsaber combat, coupled with his perceptive intellect, made him a formidable force within the Jedi ranks.

The Jedi Master was part of the contingent commanded by Jedi General Mace Windu to the war-torn planet Hissrich during The Clone Wars, fighting alongside Masters Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, and Rissa Mano. The mission was aimed at preventing the Separatists from depleting Hissrich's resources. Despite the enormous stakes, Dibs questioned the true purpose of the mission and the role of the Jedi as warriors. His dissent culminated in a tense confrontation with Windu, where Dibs challenged the consul of the Jedi Order.

For his insubordination, Prosset Dibs was brought back to Coruscant to face trial and defend his actions before the Jedi Council. Seeing through his angry words to the fear for the Republic's future that drove him, the Council did not expel him from the Order, but instead, demoted him to Jedi Knight, hoping that this would give him time to find peace in his role within the Order and the ongoing war.

However, Dibs' journey took an unexpected twist following the trial. Feeling disillusioned and betrayed by the Jedi Order, Dibs ultimately fell to the Dark Side of The Force. Emperor Palpatine, also known as Darth Sidious, took advantage of Dibs' volatile state and recruited him into his Inquisitorius program, where fallen Jedi were retrained as Inquisitors. Prosset took on the title of Tenth Brother and served the Galactic Empire, hunting down surviving Jedi and other Force-sensitive individuals across the galaxy.

Despite his fall and service to the Empire, Tenth Brother's life ended in combat against his former enemies. During a mission to Mon Cala, he was overwhelmed and killed in a trap devised by a group of rogue Jedi. His death marked a tragic end to a Jedi whose convictions and questioning nature allowed him to see the flaws within the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order, but ultimately, led him down a path of darkness.
