The Habassa people, also known as Habassans, are a species in the Star Wars universe. They're humanoid aliens, known for their avian-like features, much like birds found on earth. They hail from the planet Habassa II, which is located in the Habassa system within the Mid Rim's Senex sector. The habitation of this species extends to spacefaring, with the ability to operate spacecraft as they are notably involved in starship building.

While not highlighted in the main Star Wars films, the Habassa have made their presence felt in various Star Wars Video Games, notably the Star Wars: X-Wing series. The Habassa's significance further resonates in the story arc involving the Farlander Papers, where the species entered into conflict with the Galactic Empire following its move to seize their starship production facilities. Their rebellion against the Empire was supported by the Rebel Alliance, featuring a storyline that explores themes of resistance and autonomy.
