Drach'nam

The Drach'nam were a species within the Star Wars universe, most commonly known for their cannibalistic tendencies. Originating from the planet Belsavis, the Drach'nam were one of the many species to be imprisoned in the planet's ice caves by the ancient Rakata for their monstrous nature. Known for their towering height, ability to regenerate, and massive strength, the Drach'nam were highly feared. Their most distinct trait, however, was their cannibalistic habit of eating dead Drach'nam, and even occasionally, their own wounded.

Often favoring solitude, these solitary hunters would only come together during specific rituals. One such ritual included a cannibalistic feast where the being that was known as the "hunted-one" was chased, killed, and finally, eaten by others of the species. Despite their beastly nature, the Drach'nam were highly intelligent creatures. They demonstrated their cognitive capabilities by crafting weapons from natural resources, learning other languages, and exhibiting strategic planning in combat. However, due to their savagery and the threat they posed, they remained imprisoned within the depths of Belsavis.
