Battle of Mimbin

The Battle of Mimban occurred during the Mimban campaign of The Clone Wars, a famed conflict in the Star Wars universe. An alliance of Mimbanese warriors and the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) fought against the Galactic Republic on the murky, swampy world of Mimban. Led by Jedi General Laan Tik, along with Clone Commanders "Cody" and "Rex", the Grand Army of the Republic launched an offensive against the Mimbanese/CIS forces.

The blockades and strategic maneuvers led by the local resistance in combination with CIS troops, allowed them to hold off Republic forces for some time. However, despite strong resistance and the intrinsic challenges of the planet's difficult terrain and weather, the tide turned in favour of the Republic when Jedi Knights Anakin Skywalker and his apprentice Ahsoka Tano arrived. Their leadership ultimately resulted in a Republic victory.

Decades later, Mimban would again be a battleground, this time during the reign of the Galactic Empire. These conflicts deeply scarred the world of Mimban, leaving lasting impacts long after the battles ended.
