Mirialan

The Mirialan, also known as Mirialites, are a humanoid species originating from the planet Mirial. They are famous for their distinct green or yellowish skin color and symmetrical facial tattoos, which they acquire to commemorate significant events or achieved milestones in their lives. They are a highly spiritual species with strong beliefs in a deterministic view of the universe, believing that every individual's path is predetermined. Renowned for their wisdom and discipline, many Mirialans end up as Jedi, with Jedi Masters Luminara Unduli and her Padawan, Barriss Offee, being notable examples from the Star Wars universe.

Physically, they are close to humans in terms of stature and build, with bilateral symmetry and eyes exhibiting shades of blue or green. They possess exceptional agility, which serves them well in combat, and have a strong aptitude for Force sensitivity. Mirialan society is largely matriarchal, implying women have a significant influence on social and political matters. They are also noted for their technological aptitude, with their starships being a common sight within the galaxy. While the planet Mirial remains somewhat isolated due to the arid and cold climate, its inhabitants are renowned for their adaptability, living on several different planets across the galaxy.
