Minfar

The Minfar is a secluded planet in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories, an area known for its frontier-like nature and sparsely populated worlds. The planet was introduced in the Star Wars expanded universe through the "Journey to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" - a series of books and comics leading up to the release of the movie, "The Rise of Skywalker". Not much is known about the planet, and it mostly maintains an obscure presence in the vast Star Wars galaxy.

Minfar is predominantly characterized by its expansive forests and towering mountains. It is inhabited by the native species known as the Zixon. The Zixon are a primitive species who dwell in the forest regions of the planet and have a very limited understanding of the advanced technologies prevalent in the galaxy. This species, however, is known for its peaceful nature and lives in harmony with the wilderness of the planet.

In the novel "Spark of the Resistance" set on Minfar, the protagonists Rey, Poe, and Chewbacca visit the planet responding to a distress call from the Zixon. They encounter the First Order, who seeks an ancient Zixon weapon with destructive potential. This event significantly connects Minfar to the broader Star Wars narrative.
