Malastare is a fictional planet that is part of the Star Wars universe. Introduced in the prequel films and playing a key role in various extended universe stories, Malastare is known for its diverse terrain, valuable resources, and the various species that inhabit it. In particular, Malastare is home to the Dugs, a sapient species who coexist on the surface with the enigmatic Gran.

In the Star Wars prequel film The Phantom Menace, Malastare is mentioned as the home of the podracer Sebulba, a Dug who competes against Anakin Skywalker in the Boonta Eve Classic on Tatooine. The planet featured more prominently in the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, where it was the setting for episodes focused on the Zillo Beast, a monstrous creature accidentally unleashed during a battle between the Republic and the Separatists.
