Lady Corvax

Characters

Lady Corvax is a relatively obscure character in the Star Wars universe, making her first appearance in the virtual reality game "Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series." While not directly mentioned in any of the main films or TV series, her tale fits into the greater Star Wars mythos and explores the concept of The Force and the Dark Side. Lady Corvax was a human female who lived centuries before the events of the Skywalker saga on the planet Mustafar.

As the story begins, we learn that Lady Corvax was married to a man named Dorwin Corvax. When Dorwin perished in an attack on their kingdom, her grief overcomes her, leading her to believe that she could harness the power of the Bright Star, a sacred Mustafarian artifact containing immense energy, to bring her husband back to life. She constructed a device called the Aeon Engine, which she believed would amplify the power of the Bright Star and resurrect her lost love. However, her experiment failed and resulted in a catastrophe that transformed Mustafar into a desolate, lava-covered wasteland, also condemning the spirit of her husband to eternal imprisonment.

Centuries later, Mustafar remains a scorched and inhospitable planet, serving as the setting for the iconic battle between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker in "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith," as well as the location of Darth Vader's castle. The stories and artifacts of Lady Corvax have been mostly forgotten by the galaxy at large, with her legacy buried in crumbling ruins and ancient machines.

Lady Corvax's story serves as the backbone of the narrative for the virtual reality game "Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series." In this experience, players take on the role of a descendant of Lady Corvax, enlisted by Darth Vader to help him acquire the Bright Star and build a new version of the Aeon Engine. Vader's goal is to use the power of the Bright Star to bring his own lost love, Padmé Amidala, back to life.

Through the course of "Vader Immortal," the player-character delves deep into the history of Lady Corvax and her tragic efforts to harness the Bright Star. With the help of Mustafarian guides and the spirit of Dorwin Corvax, players must face the past and make a choice between preventing another tragedy or helping Darth Vader succumb to the temptations of the Dark Side.

While Lady Corvax may not be a prominent figure in the Star Wars canon, her compelling narrative underscores themes consistent throughout the vast galaxy: love, loss, and the struggle between light and dark. By connecting elements of the prequel trilogy with a completely new character, Lady Corvax's story enriches the lore and mythology of Star Wars and proves that the Force works in mysterious ways.
