Back on a Republic ship in the orbit above the planet, Senator Kharrus, Commander Stone, and the Gungan, Jar Jar Binks, become concerned about the silence surrounding the Jedi's communications. They decide to take action and land on Florrum with a ransom of valuable spice, hoping to secure the release of the captured Jedi and prevent a potential war. Upon landing, their shuttle crashes, resulting in the death of Senator Kharrus.

Jar Jar Binks reluctantly assumes leadership along with Commander Stone and devises a plan to rescue Anakin and Obi-Wan. Though their mission is fraught with dangers, Jar Jar's clever thinking and the utilization of the native fauna helps them secure the situation, allowing them to eventually reach the pirate stronghold.

Meanwhile, Anakin and Obi-Wan, despite being drugged and restrained, manage to escape their confines with the aid of their resourcefulness and The Force. They attempt to flee the compound but find themselves cornered by the pirates. It is at this critical moment that Jar Jar's ragtag group bursts into the pirate stronghold to save them.

Engaging the pirates with the help of the Republic forces and the native creatures, Jar Jar Binks plays a pivotal role in rescuing the Jedi, leading to the eventual defeat of the pirates. As Hondo Ohnaka's crew members betray him, the tide turns against him, and the hostages are safely extracted.

In the end, Hondo Ohnaka escapes with little more than his life, but the Jedi and the Republic forces manage to forge a fragile peace with the pirates. Grateful for Jar Jar's assistance and leadership, Anakin and Obi-Wan acknowledge the Gungan's bravery and express their deep respect for him.
