Wampa

The Wampa is a large, carnivorous creature appearing in the Star Wars universe, specifically first featuring in "Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back". Native to the icy planet Hoth, Wampas are well-adapted to the harsh, frigid conditions, standing approximately 3 meters tall and covered in white fur that allows them to blend into the snowy environment. They are known for their strength, razor-sharp claws and teeth, which they use to hunt and incapacitate their prey.

As stealthy predators, Wampas are capable of silently stalking their victims, often capturing them alive and storing them in their icy lairs for later consumption. These creatures live in caves and utilize the plentiful ice and snow of Hoth for both hunting and survival. Despite their seemingly brutal nature, Wampas do exhibit a mild level of intelligence, such as setting simple traps for their prey and showing a basic understanding of their habitat to their advantage.
