Ojom

The Ojom is a frigid, ice-capped planet featured in the Star Wars universe. It's situated in the Star System of the same name, within the Braxant Sector and the larger region known as the Outer Rim Territories. Compared to other planets in the Star Wars universe, Ojom may not strike as an especially significant cornerstone, but its distinct icy terrain and the unique inhabitants tell an interesting story.

Ojom is home to the Chubbits, a species of sentient humanoids. They are short in stature, sturdy in build, almost resembling walking fur-balls due to their heavy coats of fur well-adapted to the planet's cold climate. The planet is known for its mineral wealth, specifically the ice crystals used in weapons production. Despite the harsh conditions of the planet, Ojom is quite populated and participates in the galaxy's economy, primarily through fishing and trading in ice crystals.
