Mars Guo is an alien pod racer pilot featured in the Star Wars universe, specifically in "Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace." Hailing from the planet Phu, Guo is a Vulptereen, a species known for their distinctive droopy, tusked faces and slightly hunched backs. Mars Guo's racing skills and aggressive demeanor make him a notable contender in the podracing circuit, which is a highly dangerous and competitive sport in the Star Wars galaxy.

During the Boonta Eve Classic podrace on the desert planet Tatooine, Guo competes against several other skilled pilots, including the young Anakin Skywalker. Despite his strong presence and determination, Mars Guo's podracer is damaged mid-race by fellow competitor Sebulba, ultimately leading to his failure to complete the race. This act of sabotage by Sebulba highlights the cutthroat nature of podracing.
