DSD1 Dwarf Spider droid

The DSD1 Dwarf Spider Droid, also known as the Dwarf Homing Spider Droid or simply the Dwarf Spider, is a model of a battle droid produced by a company known as Commerce Guild. These droids are typically seen in the Star Wars universe, where they are used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during The Clone Wars.

Built by Baktoid Armor Workshop, the same producer of the infamous Armored Assault Tank, the DSD1 Dwarf Spider Droid was designed for single combat. It is fitted with a single, large and powerful laser cannon that is efficient for blasting light tanks and enemy troops. Despite its small size, it possesses an impressive level of durability.

The DSD1 Dwarf Spider Droid primarily contributed its part in battle as an anti-infantry machine. The laser cannon can fire short, medium, and long-range blasts and is suitable for various types of battles. One distinctive feature of these droids is their ability to climb up steep cliffs and travel over tough terrains to attack enemy targets, which allows them to outmaneuver and surprise unsuspecting foes.
