Dawn of the Jedi Era

The Dawn of the Jedi era, which took place long before the events of the original Star Wars film trilogy, is a period of the Star Wars timeline that explores the origins of the Jedi Order, the Sith, and the galaxy’s force-sensitive individuals. The period is mainly depicted in a comic book series published by Dark Horse comics, titled "Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi," and is set thousands of years before the formation of the Galactic Republic.

The timeline during the Dawn of the Jedi era takes place 36,453 years Before The Battle of Yavin in "A New Hope." The era’s central plot revolves around the mystic realm of The Force and the group known as "The Je'daii," a combination of both the light side and dark side of The Force. During this time, harmony is strived for, and the concept of The Force as we know it is developed, honing the balance of light and darkness. A critical stage during this era is The Force Wars, resulting in the formation of the Jedi Order, shedding the duality of the Je'daii.
