Dathomir

Dathomir is a planet located in the Quelli sector, in the Outer Rim of the Star Wars galaxy. It is known for its rugged landscapes, mysterious dark-side energies, and The Force-sensitive groups that inhabit it, namely the Nightsisters and the Nightbrothers. These groups distinguish themselves by using the Force in unique and often terrifying ways, sometimes incorporating magic and sorcery into their practices.

Created by George Lucas and first appearing in the 1985 animated series "Ewoks", Dathomir had initially gained prominence with its portrayal in the "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" television series. It was shown as the home planet of intriguing characters such as Asajj Ventress and Darth Maul. This dobby, reddish colored planet features a variety of deadly flora as well as fauna, and is enveloped in an ominous magical aura.

The planet of Dathomir is also infamously recognized for its eerie ruins, which are supposedly the remnants from an ancient, unknown civilization that had once thrived there. These ruins appear to be imprinted with strong dark-side power and were used by the Nightsisters and Nightbrothers for their rituals and practices. In "Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order" video game, Dathomir plays a significant role, providing deeper insights into its history and association with the dark side of the Force.
