Clawdite

Clawdites are a sentient species in the Star Wars universe, primarily known for their shapeshifting abilities. They hail from the planet of Zolan and are a subspecies of the Zolanders. Clawdites are genetically engineered by Zolan scientists because of the harmful sun rays on their planet. The most notable Clawdite character in Star Wars is Zam Wesell, an infamous bounty hunter in the prequel trilogy.

The shapeshifting abilities of the Clawdites make them exceptional spies and assassins. They can easily disguise themselves and mimic other humanoid species by rearranging the pigmentation of their skin. Yet, this transformation process is only skin deep and doesn't change their biological structure. Despite their unique abilities, Clawdites have been largely marginalized by the main species of Zolanders, facing discrimination and hardship in their society. In terms of physical appearance, they are humanoid, having greenish skin, tapered ears, and red eyes when they are not mimicking other species.
