Biggs Darklighter is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, who is primarily known for being Luke Skywalker's best friend. A skilled pilot, Biggs hails from the planet of Tatooine, just like Luke. He holds a prominent role in the original Star Wars trilogy, particularly during the Battle of Yavin, a pivotal event that took place in "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)."

Biggs Darklighter grew up alongside Luke Skywalker, sharing a passion for piloting with their mutual friend, Wedge Antilles.
