Kiros

The Kiros are a race of sentient beings in the Star Wars universe, specifically found in the animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Originating from the planet Kiros, these humanoid species are distinct due to their delicate wings, slim bodies and ability to fly. Often referred to as "bird people," their physical appearances also include bird-like features, such as beaked noses and colorful plumage.

Peaceful by nature, the Kiros society is known for following a pacifist philosophy, preferring diplomacy to war. Their Community is ruled by a governor, who leads the society of artisans and builders. Their peaceful existence, however, doesn't deter others from interfering in their society, as shown during the War, where they were enslaved by Zygerrians under orders from the Separatist Alliance.

Despite various adversities, the Kiros exhibit resilience and determination to maintain their values of peace. They are, indeed, a testament to the narrative of Star Wars: The Clone Wars series that even in the face of war, peace, diplomacy, and the preservation of one's culture are of Paramount importance.
