Hyena Bomber

The Hyena-class Droid Bomber, more commonly known as the Hyena Bomber, was a starfighter used by the Separatist Alliance during The Clone Wars. Manufactured by Baktoid Armor Workshop, this heavily armed droid bomber played a critical role in many space combat scenarios. Unlike the Vulture droid, the Hyena Bomber had a broader, more robust design, allowing it to carry a payload of bombs and torpedoes. It featured enhanced armor and advanced targeting systems, which made it highly effective in both space and atmospheric missions. The Hyena Bomber was often deployed in large numbers to overwhelm enemy defenses with sheer firepower.

One of the distinctive aspects of the Hyena Bomber was its operational modus operandi. As an autonomous droid craft, it didn't require a pilot, instead being controlled by a central command or pre-programmed with specific missions. This autonomy allowed for seamless coordination and precise execution of bombing runs. The ship had two configurations: a standard flight mode for long-range travel and a bombing mode where it shifted into a walking stance for greater maneuverability during attack runs. Despite its strengths, the Hyena Bomber had weaknesses, such as being vulnerable to agile Republic starfighters like the Jedi starfighters and ARC-170s, which could exploit its relatively slower speed and bulkier design.
