Characters

Commander Cody, or CC-2224, is a prominent character in the Star Wars universe. He is a Clone Marshal Commander who served both the Galactic Republic and the Galactic Empire. Cody was entrusted with significant responsibility due to his reputation as a competent and reliable soldier. He served under General Obi-Wan Kenobi, becoming a loyal and reliable asset for the Jedi General during The Clone Wars.

Commander Cody was trained in the military strategies from the very beginning of his life. Like other clones, he was produced from the genetic template of bounty hunter Jango Fett, and was grown to adulthood and trained on the extragalactic planet known as Kamino. His loyalty and strategic acumen were valuable assets during complex military campaigns.

Throughout the Clone Wars, Cody participated in many crucial battles. He survived many near-death experiences, proving both his skill and tenacity. His commitment to the Republic won respect from both his comrades and his superiors, earning him a highly esteemed position in the ranks of the Grand Army of the Republic.

However, his character took a tragic and controversial turn at the end of the Clone Wars. Upon receiving Order 66 from Chancellor Palpatine - an order initiating the extermination of the Jedi - Cody, like other clones, turned on his Jedi allies, including Kenobi. Despite their camaraderie and shared experiences, Commander Cody’s ingrained obedience compelled him to follow the order without hesitation.

After the establishment of the Galactic Empire, Cody continued to serve, albeit with a sense of loss and a decrease in responsibilities as the Empire moved away from clone soldiers. He is remembered as a tragic figure who personifies the plight of the clone army, bred for unwavering obedience and utter loyalty, even at the cost of their own morals and friendships.
